had my visit today, scheduled the snipping for next friday. I put my trt protocol down on the paperwork, and that led to an interesting conversation. got 1 valium prescribed to take beforehand, and they'll prescribe some vicodin after. plus i'll have to get sperm count checked twice after, I think at 6 and 8 weeks. seems straightforwards, says its a sub 15 minute process.

wow good luck man. I did not get to see my actual docter today and I did not feel comfortable bringing it up to the female doc that I have never met, although I did tell her most everything else.So it will probably be a coupe more weeks.

definatly post how it went and how you feel the few days after.

sounds like no big deal which is good.

Cool Really?

What's so scary about never having to do anything but enjoy sex with the person you love?

And you have kids? You are VERY fortunate and VERY lucky.

Sorry, no patience about this. Man-up and do it. You WANT your wife to have health problems because you actually THINK you're LESS shooting blanks? Really? Seems the right thing to do is kinda obvious.

It is more of a matter of me and my wife being on shaky ground, we were seperated for 8 months and things are still not that good.
If I really loved her with out a doubt than it would be a no brainer.

so far so good. no real significant pain, there are some moments of awkward odd feelings sometimes on standing up, but thats about it. from what the doc said that even tho the papers say you shouldn't have sex for 14 days after, basically its ok as soon as its stopped hurting. So idk we'll see how that goes in another day or two

I seem to be having more of an issue with coming down off a weekend of vicodin + beer than the vasectomy itself still a little sore, but really almost nothing painwise anymore.
